FAQ
Questions districts and educators ask
Clear answers about international teacher recruitment, eligibility, licensing coordination, and how partnership with Anthem PB works.
Why should our district consider international teacher recruitment?
Many school districts continue to experience shortages in critical subject areas such as mathematics, science, special education, world languages, and elementary education. International recruitment provides access to qualified educators who can help fill these vacancies while districts continue developing local talent pipelines. Anthem PB believes international recruitment should complement—not replace—local recruitment efforts.
What types of educators does Anthem PB recruit?
Depending on district needs, we recruit qualified:
- Elementary Teachers
- Middle School Teachers
- High School Teachers
- Special Education Teachers
- Mathematics Teachers
- Science Teachers
- English Language Learner (ELL/ESL) Teachers
- Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teachers
- School Counselors (where applicable)
Where do your educators come from?
Our initial partnerships focus on English-speaking countries with strong teacher preparation systems, particularly in Africa. As Anthem PB grows, we plan to expand partnerships to additional regions that produce highly qualified educators.
How do you select candidates?
Candidates are identified through trusted partnerships with universities, teacher education institutions, professional associations, and other educational organizations. Each candidate is evaluated based on academic qualifications, teaching experience, professional references, communication skills, and readiness for teaching in U.S. schools.
Does Anthem PB assist with licensing and immigration?
Yes. International recruitment often involves credential evaluations, state licensure requirements, and immigration processes. Anthem PB works alongside qualified licensing specialists, credential evaluation agencies, immigration professionals, and legal partners to help coordinate these steps. Final licensing and immigration decisions are made by the appropriate authorities.
How long does the recruitment process take?
Timelines vary depending on district hiring schedules, licensing requirements, and immigration processing. During the planning stage, Anthem PB works with each district to develop a realistic recruitment timeline.
Will educators receive orientation before arriving?
Yes. We believe preparation is essential for success. Educators participate in professional and cultural orientation designed to help them understand expectations within U.S. schools, classrooms, and communities before beginning their assignments.
Does Anthem PB provide support after placement?
Yes. Our commitment extends beyond placement. We remain engaged with both school districts and educators to encourage successful onboarding, communication, and long-term workforce success.
Can Anthem PB recruit for only a few vacancies?
Absolutely. Whether your district needs a small number of educators or is planning a larger workforce initiative, we work with districts of varying sizes to develop solutions that meet their specific needs.
